A successful open day
We opened our doors earlier this month for our first open day. We were delighted to see so many new people who were interested in the work we do at Mayfield and possible placements for themselves or family members. We are unique in our supportive placements for adults and young people with autism and learning disabilities in engineering, fabrications and woodwork.
Our Employment Support service was on hand to offer advice around help into employment in Yorkshire and co-workers who have autism were talking to visitors about the work they do at Mayfield.
A big thank you to Andy Kershaw and BBC Radio Sheffield who visited and spoke to staff, visitors and co-workers and of course had a play on a Bell Lyre!
If you were unable to make the open day and would like to visit to find out more about the work we do please contact us.
